Installation en dual boot sur IBM Thinkpad avec deux disques nvme et un disque sata
Installation demandée avec partitionnement manuel: choisir de modifier les partitions.
Disque GPT (table de partition non msdos, ce dernier limité à 4 primaires...)
Choix install ubuntu sur même disque que windows le nvme0n1
Au reboot pas moyen de booter sur Ubuntu, quelles que soient les modifications dans le "faux BIOS" touche F1 appelé à présent EFI...qui intercale une couche entre BIOS et Système d'exploitation. Le bios était trop limité par sa taille. EFI déporte une partie du boulot sur une partition de boot, qui a son tour modifie le BIOS...d'où de nombreux soucis (qui n'avaient pas lieu avant sous BIOS classique), en particulier avec WINDOWS, et aussi à cause des constructeurs d'ordinateurs qui privilégient un seul système: windows.
A noter possibilité dans le bios Lenovo de désactiver de façon PERMANENTE Intel Management Engine...non choisie pour l'instant...

Le boot sur win intempestif est arrêté brutalement avec appui sur touche arrêt...win va-t-il supporter le mauvais traitement ?
Oui et non, un WerFault apparaît...sans intérêt apparemment https://justuto.com/werfault/#Pourquoi_ … produit-il lien peu instructif typique d'une recherche sur panne générique de WIN...
Au bout de 3, ou 4 tentatives avortées, utilisation de boot repair
Mais grub se retrouve installé sur le second disque flash nvme1n1
Au démarrage changer l' ordre de boot dans le bios imposer le second disque et là seulement boot sur le menu de grub.
Après deux ou trois redémarrages sur ub ou sur win associés à des modifications dans le BIOS, c'est à présent seulement Le menu de grub Ubuntu qui apparaît.
Depuis grub, le boot vers Win est possible, mais non fonctionnel, la clé de 4 chiffres qui permettait de se loguer n'est plus reconnue !!!
Install ubuntu en dualboot win 8 ou 10, ne boote pas sur linux.
Un utilitaire bien pratique .
Booter sur une live,avec accès au réseau
Se chrooter sur l' install foireuse
Et lancer les commandes proposées par le script en copier coller
